TRACE YOUR LOST PHONE USING ANDROID DEVICE MANAGER

Have you lost your phone. Then I am very sorry to know it but if you didn't then I have a post for you that will help you to find out your lost android smartphone. Its simply amazing & if you have already lost your phone then just try this post to find out your lost phone. Okay, now question is that how can we make our phone secure and avoid to lost it. Or in any case if we have lost our phone then is there any way to find it out then My answer is yes. Of course you can find out your lost android phone. For your help Google has launched a online feature i.e Android Device Manager. Let me tell you how can you use this android device manager to find out your lost android phone.



STEP 1:
First of all you have to activate Android Device Manager on your android device.



Turn on Android Device Manager

  1. Open .com/support-kms-prod/ Google Settings from your device’s apps menu.
  2. Touch Android Device Manager.

You can turn on the following options:
  • Remotely locate this device. Remotely locate a device and find its approximate location on Google Maps. For devices running 4.1 and higher, location access must also be enabled. To turn it on, go to Google Settings > Location > Access location.

  • Allow remote lock and factory reset. Remotely lock or erase all data on your device. You can also change the lock screen passcode. Touch this option, then select Activate to turn on the device administrator.



    STEP 2:
    Now just follow below steps to use Android Device Manager.

    Use Android Device Manager
    1. Sign in to your Google Account on android.com/devicemanager. If you're using a Google Apps account, you will sign in to your My Devices page.
      All devices associated with your Google Account receive a notification to enable it if it’s turned off.
    2. If you have more than one device, select the arrow next to the device name to change it. To rename the device, use the .com/support-kms-prod/ Edit icon.



    You can select the following options:
    • Ring. Ring your device at full volume for 5 minutes - even if it’s set to silent or vibrate.
    • Lock. Lock your device with a new password.
    • Erase. Perform a factory reset, which permanently deletes all of your data.


    NOTE:
    Suppose that you are not able to trace your phone then just send a request to erase all phone all. Whenever your phone will come under a working internet connection. It will automatically delete all data from your phone. e.g. Facebook, Whatsapp, Contacts and everything.
