HOW TO INSTALL BACKTRACK 5 ON YOUR PC

Hi friends, welcome back to Smarttricks.co.nr. Yesterday I shared a post how to make bootable pendrive for linux installation. So today i will discuss how to install linux backtrack 5 on your pc. It is one of the best distributions from Linux family. I will share step by step procedure to install Linux Backtrack 5. I think there is no need to explain use of Linux Backtrack 5 to you if you are a professional but if you are beginner then you can Google use of Backtrack 5. Okay, now lets start talking about installation process. So now if you want to know how to install Backtrack from Bootable pendrive then here are some steps given below just read and follow them carefully.



STEP 1:

Friends, first of all you must know how to make bootable pendrive for linux installation. So you can read post that had posted earlier  to know how to make booatable pendrive for windows installation

STEP 2:

Now if you have done first step then just restart your computer and using boot menu screen make USB drive as primary installation device. You can use to F12 or DEL key to open Boot Menu while restarting of your computer.

STEP 3:

I hope , you have done second step successfully if any problem then leave a comment below. Now after doing above step just restart your pc once again and then this type of display will come in front of you. Here just Choose Default Boot Text Mode Installation

STEP 4:

Now you will be asked for a command to be written then just write STARTX. Now loading will be started. LINUX OS will be loaded to computer memory. You can use it.

STEP 5:

Now if you want to install Backtrack on your HardDrive so that you can use it like other operating system then you have to check your desktop. You will get a icon saying INSTALL BACKTRACK. .
